F. Bradley Hassell

 F. Bradley Hassell HL F. Bradley Hassell is the founding member of the firm. He graduated from Florida Technological University (now the University of Central Florida) with a degree in finance, with additional extensive coursework in economics, engineering and computer programming. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1978. 

Following graduation, Mr. Hassell was hired by the Florida State Court system to assist in setting up the newly created Fifth District Court of Appeal, and he developed and implemented that Court’s initial case handling and processing systems. 

Mr. Hassell then became a senior judicial research assistant for two judges of the Court, Judge Spencer C. Cross and Judge Joe A. Cowart, Jr.

Since 1982, Mr. Hassell has been in private practice, specializing in the defense of personal injury, wrongful death, and products liability cases, insurance coverage questions and disputes, appellate practice and aviation law.  He is one of only 32 attorneys certified as an aviation law specialist by the Florida Bar, and is one of only 1079 attorneys certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial law.

• Has conducted mediations, both representing parties and as a mediator
• Has served as an arbitrator and special master in civil disputes
• Federal Aviation Administration licensed commercial pilot, single engine aircraft, multi-engine aircraft
   and single engine seaplanes; rated for instrument flight.
• Has presented continuing legal education seminars in issues of tort and insurance law
