bhassellF. Bradley Hassell is the founding member of the firm, and has tried in excess of 200 jury trials in both state and federal courtrooms throughout Florida. Since 1982, he has been in private practice, specializing in the defense of personal injury, wrongful death and products liability cases, insurance coverage questions and disputes, appellate practice and aviation law. He has served as associate counsel in catastrophic injury and damage cases filed throughout the southeast United States, and the courts of the Bahamas and the United States Virgin Islands.

Mr. Hassell has instructed upon aviation law, insurance law, and civil trial practice issues at courses sponsored by, among others, the Florida Bar and the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is one of only approximately 1,000 attorneys certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law. He is one of 42 attorneys certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in aviation law.

Mr. Hassell also maintains an active appeal practice. Early in his career, he was recruited by the Chief Judge of the newly-created Fifth District of Appeal to assist in initiating that Court’s operations; in that capacity he developed and implemented that Court’s initial case handling and processing systems, and later served as a senior judicial research assistant for Judges Spencer C. Cross and Joe A. Cowart, Jr., of that Court, and continues to represent clients in appeals in both state and federal courts.
